The itinerary
Organized from USA 2017 avec amis and the original map. The roadbook uses day numbers across a month boundary; the sequence is preserved without adding a month.

Las Vegas → Grand Canyon
Arrival in Las Vegas, then vehicle pickup and camping supplies. The drive to Grand Canyon passes Hoover Dam, followed by two camping nights and a full canyon day.

25–26
Monument Valley → Moab
From Grand Canyon to an overnight at Monument Valley, then onward to the Moab area.

27–28
Arches → Grand Junction → Denver
The next stretch connects Moab with Denver through Arches and Grand Junction.

Custer State Park → Sheridan
From Denver to Custer State Park, with Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse named in the itinerary. Another Custer night precedes Sheridan.

Yellowstone → Jackson
Two days assigned to Yellowstone, followed by Jackson.

4–8
Salt Lake City → Bryce → Las Vegas
Salt Lake City and Bryce follow, then the final Las Vegas stay, vehicle return and departure for France.
